Submission Process

Hear It From Me

Ellipsis Literary Magazine is the only official undergraduate literary magazine on campus. We accept submissions of prose, poetry, art and photography. We encourage submissions from students of all majors and ages!

If you are interested in submitting, you are encouraged to do so through our email bingellipsis@gmail.com from a valid Binghamton University email.

After you submit via email, your submission will be made public on the front page of our website as one of our featured writers. Throughout the semester we will have featured artists and writers alike on our page to chose from that will be featured in our publication at the end of the semester. Our primary goal is to help you improve as a writer or artist, so you can continually edit and re-submit your work throughout the course of the reading period. Each reading period occurs twice per semester. At the end of the reading period, our editors will select a portion of the submissions to be included in a printed issue of Ellipsis Literary Magazine, to be distributed throughout the Binghamton University campus.

If you are interested in joining our editing team, please let our e-board know! Content editors should be creative, constructive and personable when providing feedback to writers, and are requested to demonstrate this by critiquing a brief writing sample when applying for a position.

Similarly, reach out to us if you are interested in joining our production team, which includes graphic designers and copy editors.
